Quiet No More

I was so pleasantly surprised to see that Braden and Isla came home a day early from their WI vacation. :-)

I was thrilled to see Bradens car in  the drive when I got home from work. Good thing I used my bonus money for chinese food!

It is a happy house!

It'll be even happier when Rich gets home tomorrow.

Cartwheels and somersaults

17 weeks along and I've been feeling flips and kicks both in the belly and out! I don't remember when this happened last time, but it just seems like this pregnancy is moving so fast!

The Office Brat

Two forms of constant deodorizer is not necessary in a 4 ft x 4 ft bathroom... in my opinion. Took one out of the bathroom at work today because my pregnant nose couldn't handle it. Later to find someone put it right back in.

It seemed like a good idea at the time! Guess not?

Looks like I am now the "office brat." ;-)

Quiet...

Strangely quiet in my house. Isla B and Brady Bob are in Sconny with my parents and both doggies are with their new families. Just me, the cat (KeeKee), and the unborn gymnast (doing somersaults) in my belly this week.

Scooter and Sparky are with new families...

Sadly we had to give Scooter and Sparky away to new loving families this last couple of weeks. Sparky left us about a week and a half ago and Scooter left yesterday.

Checked up on Scooter today and he's still shy. Looks like it will take him a while to warm up. :-(

So Fresh and So Clean

This morning after waking up Isla saw Scooter "cleaning" himself on the couch. She pointed to him inquisitively and I explained that "Dogs use their tongues to clean themselves."

After this explanation she proceeded to attempt this on herself... No pictures were taken, but it was quite comical.

Isla's Second Birthday

Wow, sad of me not even to update on Isla's second birthday!!

Her birthday went awesome (on May 12)! Had a whole slew of people here to celebrate and I thank every one of them for the good time and great gifts! All is appreciated!

It of course was Dr Suess Themed. My sister made the cake, my neighbors and best friends helped me with the food and prep of the party, and there was lots of other help from my family as well!

Isla loved the cake part...

was kinda interested in the gift part...

but LOVED the bouncy house part! :-D
